About us.
The Phillips family at Joyful Noise Farm in Wayland, MI, have long family history’s in Agriculture. Both Pete and Julie’s paternal grandparents and parents made their living farming, primarily with dairy cows. Pete’s brother Dave operates Phillips Family Farms, Inc., the family dairy, beef, and crop farm in Western New York, while Julie’s brother Steve grows sod and cash grains at Saratoga Sod Farm in Eastern New York. Joyful Noise Farm has been in operation in Wayland, MI since 1992. Our primary products have been beef and turkey. With the retirement from farming of our neighbor, Don Dandrow a few years ago, we grow and sell chilled sweet corn during the summer season. While our four children may not jump out of bed each morning looking for chores to do, we value the lifestyle and all have contributed to building and making our farm what it is today.
